Estate and Trust Settlement Instructions
The Office of Gift Planning coordinates all estate and trust matters on behalf of the Johns Hopkins Institutions. Accordingly, please be advised that all correspondence in connection with an estate should be sent to the attention of Margaret A. Kersse, Assistant Gift Planning Advisor, at the address listed below.
To assist us with properly and efficiently processing the gift and utilizing the bequest as the donor intended, please provide the following information:
- The name and address of any survivors of the decedent to whom you feel it would be appropriate for us to send an expression of our gratitude; and
- A copy of the will, trust, or other legal document directing the distribution of assets to Johns Hopkins.
Please also provide an estimate of the value of the bequest to Johns Hopkins and an anticipated date of distribution.
